We are based and work in the Lunigiana region of Tuscany. Lunigiana is an immensely beautiful area of Italy and quite different to the other ares of Tuscany. Blessed with stunning mountains and within minutes of the coastline Lunigiana remains true to its Italian roots and relatively unspoilt by the ravages of tourism and over development.
Highlights of the area include,
Apuan mountains with walking, skiing, and lakes
Stunning coastline with the nearby towns of Portovénere and Lerici
Endless Chestnut forests and beautiful countryside
Many beautiful castles to explore
Medieval villages full of character
Welcomign and friendly people
Renowned local cuisine
The nearby Cinque Terre National Park
Close to both the Italian Riviera and central Tuscany
Lunigiana is serviced by a fantastic network of roads. The A15 motorway which runs from the coast up to Parma means that no matter which way you are travelling from Lunigiana is easy to find and quick to reach.
The area is served by a number of good airports. Pisa, Genova and Parma airports are all within 1 1/2 hours drive. Or try Milan or Bologna which are both 2 1/2 hrs away.
There is also a main line railway which serves the Lunigiana valley with links from La Spezia
