Traditional Restorations
We pride ourselves in the care and attention we put into restoring old properties to their former glory. Using old and modern technicques, the properties can have modern convenient living spaces but contain all the charm and characteristics of the original building. We specialise in historic Italian village and country houses

Roofs in Wood
The traditional method of roofing in this area is for chestnut beams with wooden or terracota ceilings. We have constructed many of these beautiful roofs and are experts in proving this skill.

Stone Work
Most of the old buildings in this area are constructed of stone and it is important to use the correct techniques to ensure that the stone is preserved and kept strong. We also pride ourselves on the excellent stone restorations for the inside and outside of buildings using tranditional lime mixes to provide the right level of strength and flexibility in the stonework. It also look beauthiful.

Seismic Adaptations
The whole of Italy is a seismic area. Thankfully earthquakes are rare, and Lunigiana lies in an area where the activity is even rarer. Even so, it is important to have the proper safe guards included in any building restorations. We include the designs for the steel re-inforcements required to prevent collapse in an earthquake.
